By adopting from Sunshine Canyon Dog Rescue you are truly saving a dog's life. We receive emails from volunteers all over the U.S. about dogs in urgent situations. Sometimes they are only hours away from being euthanized. At SCDR we work to find you the perfect match. When you complete our adoption application you are giving us the tools we need to make a lasting connection. Adoption Process

Rugby

Rugby was found roaming the streets and has come a long way since then. She is still cautious with new people and experiences, but is learning every day! She does well with patient and loving guidance. She loves to be chased by her fosters two large dogs and isn't scared to wrestle with them, even though she's only 15 pounds! But her absolute favorite things are to be chased and a game of fetch! Rugby loves to cuddle and give kisses to the people she trusts.She's working on potty training and does well in her kennel, and just went on her first hike!

Rugby is very mischievous (read: smart!) and high energy, so she'll need someone active to keep her body and mind busy. She's very food motivated so with some patience and dedication she'll be the perfect companion! She definitely takes her cues from her dog foster siblings and loves to play, so a home with other dogs may be best for an easy transition.
